Adi me parmeshvar ne akash aur prithvi ki srishti ki

In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.

1:2

Aur prithvi bedole aur sunsaan padi thi aur ghare jal ke upar andhiyara tha tatha parmeshvar ka atma jal ke upar mandlata tha

And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.

1:3

Tab parmeshvar ne kaha ujiyala ho to ujiyala ho gaya

And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.

1:4

Aur parmeshvar ne ujiyale ko dekha ki achcha hai aur parmeshvar ne ujiyale ko andhere se alag kiya

And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness.

Aur parmeshvar ne ujiyale ko din aur andhiyare ko rat kaha tatha sanjh hui phir bhore hua is prakar pahela din ho gaya

Phir parmeshvar ne kaha jal ke bich eak aisa antar ho ki jal do bhag ho jaye

And God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters.

Tab parmeshvar ne eak antar karke uske niche ke jal aur uske upper ke jal ko alag alag kiya aur vaisa hi ho gaya

And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament: and it was so.

Aur parmeshvar ne us antar ko akash kaha tatha sanjh hui phir bhore hua is prakar dusra din ho gaya

And God called the firmament Heaven. And the evening and the morning were the second day.

Phir parmeshvar ne kaha akash ke niche ka jal eak sthan me ikattha ho jaye aur sukhi bhumi dhikhai de aur vaisa hi ho gaya

And God said, Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together unto one place, and let the dry land appear: and it was so.

Aur parmeshvar ne sukhi bhumi ko prithvi kaha tatha jo jal ikattha hua usko usne samudr kaha aur parmeshvar ne dekha ki achcha hai

And God called the dry land Earth; and the gathering together of the waters called he Seas: and God saw that it was good.

1:11

Phir parmeshvar ne kaha prithvi se hari ghans tatha bijvale chote chote pedh aur faldai vriksh bhi jinke bij unhi me eak eak ki jati ke anusar hote hai prithvi par uge aur vasa hi ho gaya

And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so.
